The Job
We are seeking interest for a Maintenance Engineer position from competent applicants who can demonstrate a high level of experience/ expertise across a range of heavy and light equipment, particularly that equipment commonly used within the Civil Infrastructure Industry.
Understanding and experience would be an advantage across the following activities:
Horizontal Drilling equipment (drills, locators, etc.).
Our work involves use of heavy equipment. Excavators, Trucks, Rollers and also Hydro Excavation equipment all form part of daily operations.
A critical component of our work and commitment to clients, is the final reinstatement of ground following infrastructure works. Familiarity with compaction and road repair equipment would be expected.
Welding and Fabrication skills may be a further advantage.

Responsibilities would include the following:
Managing day to day planning of equipment and vehicle maintenance in support of our teams deployed across a range of activities (projects) throughout the Taranaki and lower North Island.
Complying with Drillco Limited Health and Safety policies on all aspects of work.
Engage staff and Clients on a daily basis.

The Candidate
You will have a background and experience in all aspects of Petrol and Diesel engines with a commitment to working with a team and delivering quality workmanship every first time. You will be motivated, productive and share the same respect we do for creating a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Full class 2 drivers licence and WTR endorsements preferred
Self-motivated with the proven ability to work with and motivate a team
Drive to achieve productivity, goals and deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
Honesty and reliability
