Procurement Manager

New Energy is a dynamic construction company committed to delivering high quality renewable energy projects across New Zealand. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Manager to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our organisation.

As a Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in optimising our procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.


  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Source, negotiate, and contract with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, changes in supply base, and industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

Qualifications / Skills:

  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a procurement or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
